I WANT

Hi Darling,
Ok, I am on a mission to find the hottest open toe booties out there with an affordable price. Well, I go onto www.shopstyle.com to window shop and I come across these beauties.
Look at them, they are amazing. They are by Jeffrey Campbell and they are $158.
I WANT THEM!!!!!!
But they only have a size 8 and a size 10 in stock - and I am a size 9.
I am on a mission to call shopstyle.com to find out if they will receive more stock of these booties - wish me luck

PEANUT BUTTER AND MY JELLY SANDALS

Sandals by Valentino at ShopStyle

Darling,

Look at these amazing jellies for the pedicure season. They are calling me. lol

They're by Valentino and ready to shine for the Summer. I am so done with my gold uggs or my Michael Kor rainboots. I want some jellies and I want them now.

These jellies are a long way from the early versions of the 80's.

First, the name Jellies refers to the semi-transparent materials that had a jelly-like sheen to it. The first type of plastic was PVC plastic that was infused with glitter.

At one point in time you could get a pair of jelly sandals for only a $1.00. Now they range anywhere from $20 to $350 (Valentino jellies pictured).

I wanted to know the exact origin of this shoe and what I found was that a Brazil based shoe company Grendene Shoe claims to have introduced the jelly shoe to the US market in 1982. Grendene Shoe company and an ex-banker Preston Haag, Sr. struck a deal to distribute Grendene's plastic shoes in the US through a new company named Grendha. The shoes were introduced during the 1982 World's Fair. With the success in February 1983, Bloomingdale's (one of my favorite stores) ordered 2,400 pairs in nine styles. And the rest is history.

THE WEDGE SHOE IN MY HEART

Wedges by Bebe at ShopStyle

Darling,

Spring is here ladies!!!!! It is time to go out and shop for new shoes. Run don't walk. :)

One of the hottest trends for this season is the Wedge.

The wedge comes in so many colors, styles, and price points that everyone can afford these skyscrapers.

I love these black "Lauren Lace Up Wedge" by BeBe for only $149.

In my opinion, the wedge is not a trend. You can keep these forever. They are always recycled. They go but always come back to be loved.
