Hi Darling,

If I want a little avant-garde designer fashion, I head to Joan Shepp. This center city boutique has everything a large high end department store has and more.

Joan Shepp has been around since 1971, the boutique was located in the Philadelphia suburbs until 1999 when the store moved to Rittenhouse Square, downtown Philadelphia.

You can find everything at Joan Shepp - luxury items, vintage pieces, menswear, and basic pieces at every price point. Joan Shepp carries over 92 designers such as - Pedro Garcia, Balenciaga (in store only), Dries Van Noten, Jean Paul Gaultier, YSL, Sonia Rykiel, Marc by Marc Jacobs, and oh so much more. Joan Shepp also carries a nice amount of menswear as well - Y-3, Comme des Garcons, and Play by Comme des Garcons.

The shoe salon at Joan Shepp is surprisingly a large selection of boots, heels, flats, and sneakers all to satisfy your shoe fetish.

The sales associates at Joan Shepp greet you with a smile and they provide great customer service. Customer Service is very important to me, which is the first thing I examine when I walk into a store. I, coming from Neiman Marcus and a few other retail stores believed in giving 150% to my clients and new customers, I think that is very important especially if you want the customer to be happy with their purchase, and be a frequent customer as well.

I truly recommend Joan Shepp for your first Philly boutique shopping experience. Before then, join the mailing list to be aware of sales and upcoming events.
